When you make your own cigarettes, it is much cheaper, fresher, more flavorful and safer than FSC "Fire Safe" cigarettes in my opinion.
These are the best tubes for injecting machines that I have found so far and I'm glad that I found them. I believe that they came out several months ago as that is when I first discovered them. They may have been around longer and I just never saw them... I frequent tobacco stores and shop on the internet often for these types of products and discovered them about 6 or 7 months ago.
The cigarette tubes are available in 84 mm (King Size or Standard Size) and 100 mm (100's) lengths. 20 mm filters for the king size and 25 mm filters for the 100's. I have not tried the 100's as they do not fit in my cigarette case, but according to the product description, the 100's are smoother than the king size. I can tell you from experience that the king tubes are smoother than any other cigarette tube that I have tried and I have tried many. I would say that they are smoother than: Gambler, Premiere and Zig Zag by far.
Additionally, I believe that the Hot Rod Tubes are slightly thicker than most cigarette tubes as they seem to fill better and feel a little bigger in your lips.
I particularly like the fact that these tubes come in a wide array of types including Regular, Light, Ultra Light, Menthol, Super Menthol, etc. This is the widest selection that I have found offered by any company thus far.

Roll Your Own Cigarettes With Cigarette Tobacco Or Pipe Tobacco:
I have tried several brands of cigarette tobacco and pipe tobacco and have discovered that both are good if you use them with the right kind of cigarette tubes. It may take some experimenting to find the right combination to suit your taste. One this is for sure; when you make your own cigarettes, it is much cheaper, fresher, more flavorful and safer in my opinion.

I have tried Bugler, Bali Shag, Drum, Gambler and a few other popular cigarette tobaccos and have found Gambler Light/Gold to be the best. It is on the expensive side at approx. $42 per 8 oz. bag. Makes approx. 12 - 14 packs.
Pipe Tobaccos That I Have Tried:

I have tried several including Criss Cross, Farmers Gold, Four Aces Light, Gambler Light and Direct Buy and OHM. I have found that Direct Buy and OHM is by far the best pipe tobacco for rolling your own cigarettes. It is much cleaner and smoother than most pipe tobacco that I have tried and the price is much cheaper than cigarette tobacco (60% - 80% Cheaper!!!)
If you like light cigarettes, Direct Buy Blue or OHM Blue may be for you. It's comparable to Marlboro Lights, Pall Mall Lights, Parliament Lights and the like. If you use a light filter with the Direct Buy Blue or OHM Pipe Tobacco, you have the perfect light cigarette. If you use regular tubes with Direct Buy Blue or OHM, you would have a perfect full flavored cigarette similar to Marlboro. If you desire a stronger smoke, you can always try Direct Buy Red or OHM Red. Also available from Direct Buy is the Silver which is comparable to a medium blend and the Green; which to me is better than the finest menthol cigarette that you can currently buy. You can get 6 oz. bags at your local tobacco store for approx. $10 - $12. Makes approx 10 - 12 packs.
The only difference that I noticed is that with Pipe Tobacco you have to break it up slightly more than you would have to with cigarette tobacco. It is more coarse than cigarette tobacco and can jam up injection machines. Overall, it only takes a few more seconds to break up a small pile.
Certain pipe tobacco has a strong "pipe tobacco" type of flavoring that can be overwhelming to me and a few other people that I know. However, you do not experience the "pipe tobacco" flavor when smoking the OHM and Direct Buy Blue and you do not get a lot of Black Cavendish (Dark Tobacco).

Fire Safe Cigarettes - Or - Smokers as Lab Experiments
Chances are the reason that you landed on this page was to find an alternative to over-taxed, packaged cigarettes that taste like complete garbage and are now worse for you than ever! We can thank to the Gov for stepping in and forcing cigarette manufacturers to make FSC (Fire Standards Compliant) cigarettes. Are "Fire Safe" Cigarettes REALLY for OUR SAFETY??? Hmmm... I DON"T THINK SO!!! Somehow, I don't believe that smoking plastic is "safe" for anyone.
Personally, I strongly feel that there is a hidden agenda as to why they would put Ethylene (plastic) "speed bump" strips, extra ethylene vinyl acetate (more carpet glue as there is more paper) and other highly toxic chemicals into cigarettes, but I don't want to get into detail on the subject at this time. So, I'll present you with some hard-learned facts and you can make your own decision as to why they would want to make Fire "Safe" Cigarettes...
The main motivation behind rolling my own cigarettes came from FSC or ("Fire Safe" Cigarettes). The Gov has completely ruined cigarette smoking as we know it! The taste is awful and they never burn right. Not to mention the heightened health risks. In fact, I believe that they pose more of a fire hazard as the cigarette 'canoes' (burns unevenly) and can even drop hot, semi-burned ashes as a result. I've been burned at least a few times and have dropped hot ashes several times. Additionally, they can sometimes stay lit for at least a couple of minutes and burn-away in the ashtray, but when you're smoking them you have to suck your brains out or they go out; thus posing more of a fire hazard as you need to keep relighting them. Have you ever seen the head of a match fly off the stick when you light it? I have several times.
Studies at Harvard School of Public Health, 2005 have shown that the amount of carbon monoxide output is increased by 11.4 % and13.9 % more Naphthalene!
How can the FDA approve such a sinister idea in the first place? Will FSCs be recalled as hundreds of other products that have been in the past and continue to be??? You see the lawyer commercials on TV all the time looking to sue the manufacturers of the latest "miracle drug" or weight loss product that is causing serious side effects or even death!
A friend and I had been ordering the same brand of Non Fire safe Cigarettes online for years until one shipment (Our Last Shipment!!) came in the form of the new FSC ("Fire Safe" Cigarettes). We both were extremely let down once we realized that they were in fact Fire "Safe" Cigarettes. We could both taste the difference immediately! Suddenly, the cigs that we were enjoying for years while everyone else was smoking the FSCs were gone forever!
After a few weeks of smoking the few cartons that we had purchased online, we started feeling harsh symptoms. We tried several types of cigarette tobacco and also pipe tobacco as recommended by our local Tobacconist. After some experimenting, we finally found the perfect combination of pipe tobacco and cigarette tubes. Thanks to us rolling our own cigarettes, our health is now back to normal and we are once again enjoying fresh and good tasting cigarettes as they used to be and how they should be; only much better!!
