Roll Your Own Cigarettes (RYO)
Make Your Own (MYO) & Save Big $$$

Rolling Your Own Cigarettes:

"RYO" (Roll Your Own) or "MYO" (Make Your Own) - You'll be glad that you did!!
This Roll Your Own Cigarette Blog was inspired by the lack of knowledge on rolling your own cigarettes and the desire to inform people of what alternatives are available to store bought, ultra toxic and poison FSC (Fire Standards Compliant) cigarettes. Everyone knows that smoking is not healthy, but if you're going to smoke, you should definitely consider rolling your own cigarettes. RYO/MYO and discover a much fresher, cleaner, cheaper and more natural smoking experience. The information displayed herein has been gathered from my personal experiences over the past 5 years.

How To Roll Your Own Cigarettes:
There are a few different ways that you can roll your own cigarettes.

1) Hand-held Injectors or Rollers - These are good for people who don't smoke much. They can be difficult to use and they wear out often, but are good for traveling.
Approx Cost: $5 - $10

2) Injection Machines - These are the most popular type of cigarette machines. They are affordable and will last if used properly. Typically they have a chamber for the tobacco and a crank handle. They are very easy to use, fast and provide a perfect cigarette.
Approx Cost: $30 - $50

3) Electric Cigarette Rolling Machines - I have not used one yet, but they look pretty good. If you have the money to buy one and experiment with it, I suppose it could work well for you. From the info that I found, they had mixed reviews.
Approx Cost: $300 - $500

Roll Your Own Cigarette Machines:

There are many brands of cigarette machines. Below are some popular injection type machines.

Tops Top-O-Matic T2 - I have had 2 of these machines and they work well, however, they can break if over stuffed. They are proclaimed to be "The World's Toughest Cigarette Machine", however, I beg to differ.

Gambler Tube Cut - These cigarette machines are similar to the T2 machines and they have other models available.

Premier Supermatic - They seem to be well made and have had good reviews. I will be purchasing one if I break another T2 machine.

Cigarette Tubes:

To roll your own cigarettes with an injection or handheld cigarette machine you will need Cigarette Tubes. I like Gambler Light tubes the best. There are a wide variety of tubes available. You can buy Regular, Light and even Menthol tubes. Prices range from $2 - $3 per 200 piece carton.

If you are trying to quit smoking, you know there are many tools out there to help you kick the habit. Tools like hypnosis, patches, prescription pills, just to name a few, are available to help break the cycle of dependence. One of the options out there that many of you have probably never heard of, is an electronic cigarette.
At first glance, images may come to mind that this device may be some kind of shock therapy device. In actuality, however, the electronic cigarette is a battery powered atomizer. When it is placed in the mouth, a small processor detects airflow and injects a small amount of fluid from a propylene glycol/nicotine cartridge into the atomizer which vaporizes the liquid. In essence, the electronic cigarette looks and behaves like a regular cigarette but delivers nicotine without dangerous by-products such as arsenic, carbon monoxide and tar.

Thanks Saima! I actually starting vaping several months ago and find it to be very helpful in drastically reducing the amount that I smoke. I strongly believe that I could quit smoking much easier if/when I decide to.
